I’ve had such a wonderful experience bringing my children to Discovery Children’s Dentistry. The entire staff is incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming, which makes such a difference when bringing kids to the dentist. They go above and beyond to make my children feel comfortable and at ease during every visit. Dr. Fazeli is very kind, gentle, knowledgeable, and take the time to explain everything clearly. My kids actually look forward to their appointments, which says a lot! I’m so grateful to have found a pediatric dental office we can trust. Highly recommend to any parent looking for excellent dental care for their children.

I take my kids, ages 5 and 9, to Discovery and have had a great experience both with the cleanings as well as a cavity filling. They make my young kids feel comfortable from start to finish which is not always the case. The dentist is kind and thorough.

Dr. Fazeli and her staff were so great with my son who unfortunately had an appliance placed incorrectly causing him a great deal of discomfort. They fit him in promptly and were so gentle and made the removal so easy! I also really appreciated that she took the time to answer my questions after since our son is a more complicated case than most. The office also had a nice play area and a fun prize at the end which my son loved!

We love this dental office. The staff are all lovely and kind. It’s clean and well managed and our kids are always comfortable and love going.

Highly recommend bring your kids here. The office is so fun for the kids, staff is fantastic. The dentist is extremely kind and warm. My son’s first dentist apt was extremely fun for him and I’m going to be coming back from now on. Best decision I made. I wish I could see her as an adult client haha ❤️ my son wants to come back because of his experience was truly awesome and fun .

Dr. Afsoon Fazeli is kind and knowledgeable dentist. She was patient with all my questions and gave me a lot of helpful information. Her transparency helped me to understand my son’s oral situation so that I felt very informed moving forward with our next steps.

My kids love Dr. Fazeli and the team at Discovery Children’s! The team is so kind and my kids enjoy the atmosphere? They even asked me when they get to come back!

Had a great experience at this dentist office. All of the staff were lovely. I’m really glad this will be my girls first memory of the dentist. The hygienists walked both girls through each step before doing it. They allowed me to sit on the chair and hold them for comfort. They were offered headphones to listen to the tv show playing from screens in the ceiling. My older daughter was given a coin at the end of each appointment where she could pick from many varieties of prize machines. My younger daughter was given an age appropriate toy that was safe for her. The waiting area has tablets and some toys and is bright, colorful, and welcoming. My older daughter needed a document signed to start school and that was done easily and quickly. Neither girl had any issues with their teeth while we were patients, but the dentist offered tips to keep it that way depending on each girls’ mouth. Highly recommended and wish we weren’t so far away to continue going.

We live in kauai and I needed a pediatric expert to view an xray for a second opinion (I was willing to fly for treatment if needed and was feeling very concerned about the treatment plan). After 7 calls, no other dentists would even look at the image. Discovery dental was so kind in offering her expert advice on the x-ray. She even looked at the other x-rays and mentioned a cavity to look out for. I was so impressed with her bedside manner, time provided, and guidance. The office comes well recommended by others and they would certainly be my go-to if i was based in Encinitas. I plan to go there on our trips back and forth.
